Demon Hunter Tank

Link to This Build
Well it's finally been shown. This game is so extremely user oriented you can do whatever you really want to do. If you want to be a DH and still tank everything, possibly better than a Barbarian or a Monk, here's how.

The player in the video's stats are as follows.

1830 LoH
2.8% LS
550+ Res All
57.4% Damage Reduction
3% Ranged Damage Reduction
4% Melee Damage Reduction
19% Block
24% Dodge
60,000 HP

He's able to stand in everything regardless of how much damage it deals, and he never drops.
I still haven't seen a Barb or Monk tank that well.

Inferno Act 1 Elite Pack Farming

A great guide for Act 1 Inferno Elite Pack Farming

Start off in Inferno Act 1 Quest

Imprisoned Angel - The Cursed Hold

The next step you want to take is to use your WP to teleport to the Festering Woods. Look to the west of the WP for the Warrior's Rest, kill any elite packs you find on the way, and kill the guaranteed elite inside the cave. Pick up your loot and teleport back to town. Use the WP again and go back to Festering Woods again, this time head east. You're looking for the Crypt of the Ancients. Kill any elite packs you find on the way, and kill the pack inside. Pick up your loot and head back to town.

Next head to the Cemetery of the Forsaken. Look for an elite pack near the WP. He's a pretty common spawn. Then clear out each of the crypts. Each one contains 1-3 elite packs. You'll easily have your full NV stacks by the time you clear all these out. This area is nice because it contains special events like Jar of Souls, etc...

Leoric's Manor is up next. WP there and head back out to the courtyard... Between the WP and the courtyard you'll find anywhere from 1 to 3 more elite packs. Kill them, pick up your loot and head back to town.

Head down to Halls of Agony Level 2 - and start clearing towards the butcher. You'll find at least one pack in Halls of Agony Level 2, and at least 2 in the area with the Warden. Kill the warden, and head down to kill the butcher. On the way you'll find another pack in Level 3.

This is where you're going to start wrapping up your Act 1 Farm. Head to the Old Ruins and throw on as much Magic Find as you have. There's a 100% spawn of a weapon rack to the south of the WP that has a great drop chance on rares and legendaries. Then head west to check for the Dark Cellar. There's a pretty common Treasure Goblin inside.

Also to the west of Old Tristram is the Dank Cellar. Inside you'll find Sarkoth which has a great gold drop and magic drop rate.

Last but not least, if you have the Infernal Staff of Herding, you can go clear out Whimsyshire. Be careful they are much tougher than the rest of Act 1!

Barbarian Stat Priorities

Staying alive as a Barbarian in Inferno can be a challenge even if you are geared correctly. Here I will set the standard for what you need and why you need it.

This is for Inferno Group Play.

Dexterity Semi-Useless (Dodge Chance)
Crit ChanceSemi-Useless
Intelligence = Semi-Useless (Resistance)

Main Stat Priority

DPS
Weapon Damage > Strength > Crit Chance > Crit Damage > Attack Speed

Survivability
Resist All > % Life Increase > Vitality > Life On Hit > Attack Speed > Strength

These six stats are each have huge advantages and will keep you alive. Your job as a Barbarian is to tank the mobs, and absorb the damage.

Your resists and vitality will let you take more damage before anything you're doing becomes dangerous. As a barbarian you should be stacking as much + Resist All as possible to minimize all damage you take.

Some of your main attacks (ie; Revenge and Overpower) restore a percentage of your total health with every target hit. As such, the more life you can achieve the more you will heal yourself. Stacking Vitality and % Life Increase will help keep you alive.

With life on hit and attack speed you will be restoring your life at a rate that should be more than adequate if you achieve somewhere around 300 life on hit, but really the more the better.

Your very last priority is Strength. Even though it is technically your primary stat, you should be after this dead last. It is great for increasing your damage, but you as a barbarian, are a tank. Let the higher dps classes take the monsters down while you hold them still like a pro.

Give me your opinion in the comments below!

Monk Stat Priority

Staying alive as a Monk in Inferno can be a challenge if you are geared incorrectly. Here I will set the standard for what you need and why you need it.

Strength Semi-Useless (Armor)
Crit ChanceSemi-Useless
Intelligence = Semi-Useless (Resistance)

Main Stat Priority

DPS
Weapon Damage > Dexterity > Crit Chance > Crit Damage > Attack Speed

Survivability
Life On Hit > Attack Speed > Resist > Vitality > Dexterity

These five stats are your bread and butter.

With life on hit and attack speed you will be restoring your life at a rate that should be more than adequate if you achieve somewhere around 900 life on hit, but really the more the better.

Your job as a monk is to tank the mobs, and to help your party.

Your resists and vitality will let you take more damage before anything you're doing becomes dangerous. As a monk using One With Everything, you should be stacking a single type of resist, such as cold or arcane, but only one! Resist All is for Barbarians, stay away from it! It should be easier to get anyway.

Your very last priority is Dexterity. Even though it is technically your primary stat, you should be after this dead last. It is great for increasing your damage, but you as a monk, are a party buff and a tank. Let the higher dps classes take the monsters down while you hold them still like a pro.

Monk 200k Inferno Challenge

This video gives great insight to how to gear a monk with very little gold and how to clear out inferno with said gear.

Demon Hunter Farming Build

Link to My Build
A friend of mine was nice enough to link me to the video below, and this is definitely how a Demon Hunter should be played while farming in Inferno. Below is the skills I believe he is using. This is a much higher AoE build.

1. Evasive Fire - Covering Fire
This is your main attack, it's a great aoe, that builds up your Hatred, unless an enemy is close, then it will disengage to keep you out of harms way.

2. Spike Trap - Scatter
This is a great AoE burst for rare groups and specials.

3. Smoke Screen - Lingering Fog
Press this if you're about to take damage or need to get away from something!

4. Cluster Arrow - Maelstrom
This is another great targetable AoE burst for rare groups that will help heal you if you get low.

5. Fan of Knives - Fan of Daggers
If anything gets too close to you and you're out of Discipline, pop this and chances are good that it will stun the monster so you can get away.

6. Preparation - Backup Plan
If you're out of Discipline press this.

7. Tactical Advantage
A good run speed boost to pair with your smoke screen to help get you out of harms way.

8. Sharpshooter
This build is pretty bursty, especially if you're getting critical hits.

9. Vengeance
Hopefully you're using a two-handed crossbow to get the extra + Crit Damage.

Check out the video, this guy is pretty quick at clearing out the second half of Act III!
